Coffee Story
Brewing Notes

The Kirinyaga Region is a notable coffee growing region in sight of Mt. Kenya and known for high quality production. The Baragwi Cooperative is now one of the largest coffee producers in Kenya, processing at multiple mills, including the Kariru Factory.

The Kariru AB is delicate and refined with notes of white peach, plum and pear.

The "AB" distinction refers to the size of screens used to sort coffees - "AA" is the largest screen used in the sorting process, and "AB" is one step smaller. Though not directly related to quality measure, the larger bean size of "AA" and "AB" sorted coffees is a common corollary.
