Coffee Story
Brewing Notes

Finca Buenos Aires, owned and operated by Navio Orozco is a true micro-lot. The entire farm consists of a single hectare, or about two and a half acres. To put that into perspective, the entire farm is about the same size as the area inside an athletic track, or just a bit larger than a soccer pitch. Orozco tends a total of 4,000 trees - all Colombia variety.

Freshly harvested cherry is allowed to ferment for 14 hours prior to de-pulping, and 18 hours in mucilage before washing and drying on raised beds. the resulting coffee is super clean and tropical, with notes of delicate tropical fruits like papaya, plum, and starfruit.

The Colombia Buenos Aires is an exceptionally drinkable coffee no matter what brew method is used. Automatic drip coffee makers work well with this coffee, while hand pour methods like Hario V60, Chemex, and Kalita Wave will bring out even more complexity of flavor.
