Finca El Ocaso 18/18
The 18:18 Red Tabi has been a special coffee for us for years now. What started as a process experiment with Gustavo Patino at El Ocaso has become a coffee that we look forward to every year. When we began experimenting with processes at Ocaso, we made a promise to Gustavo and his family that we would purchase as much as they would produce for us, regardless of the quality. Some years, that means we have to blend an experimental process here and there but the 18:18 has consistently maintained it’s quality year after year. This year’s harvest highlights the more sugary qualities of a pink lady apple that finishes herby and clean.
