
Our first new release of the year is an Ethiopian coffee from producer Shekel Taye in Chelelektu, Yirgacheffe. Single producer lots from Ethiopia are still relatively rare as most producers contribute to unions and coops so we are always excited to come across them. Shekel Taye stood out to us for its quality and complexity. The fruit characteristics in this coffee are dense like a Bordeaux and finish as clean as a perfectly steeped white tea.
