Our first taste of Liquidambar was a whirlwind of flavors; a tango of intense tropical fruits and a lush richness you’d expect from a macadamia nut. When we revisited it a week later, however, suddenly notes of apple butter, sugar cookie, and sweet dried fig coated our palates. Undoubtedly delicious, yet the elusive tropical flavors of guava and dragon fruit still kept us guessing. This dance around the flavor wheel has made pinpointing the essence of Liquidambar quite a challenge. It's crystal clear that this coffee refuses to be tied down to a few predictable flavor notes. It’s a coffee that thrives on being complex and we’re not trying to tame it; we're here to celebrate its wild side!
