Gotiti

Grown in the lush hills of Ethiopia’s famous Yirgacheffe region, this coffee comes from the Gotiti community in Gedeb, where coffee farming is part of everyday life. Farmers here deliver freshly picked cherry to the washing station by foot or mule, often traveling through dense forest and steep terrain to get there. Once received, the coffee is carefully washed, fermented, and dried with an incredible amount of attention to detail.

Most of the producers in Gotiti work on very small farms, many less than a few acres in size. Coffee grows alongside false banana trees and acacias that provide natural shade and help keep the soil healthy. Combined with the area’s high elevation and native coffee varieties, the result is a cup that feels distinctly Ethiopian in the best way possible.

This coffee is bright, floral, and clean with layered sweetness and a lively, tea-like feel. It’s the kind of coffee that reminds us why Yirgacheffe has become one of the most celebrated coffee regions in the world, while still feeling deeply connected to the people and traditions that make it special.
