Don Senel Geisha

The Campos family has been growing coffee in southern Costa Rica since 1968. Today, Senel Campos and his son Allan carry on that tradition through Finca Cola Roja and Don Senel Micromill, where they oversee every step from cultivation to processing.

Located in the Brunca region, Finca Cola Roja benefits from rich soils, cool mountain temperatures, and a unique microclimate that helps coffee cherries mature slowly and develop exceptional flavor. This Geisha lot reflects both the farm's growing conditions and the family's careful attention to detail.

For this natural process coffee, ripe cherries were hand-selected and dried slowly on raised beds inside a shaded greenhouse for 30 to 40 days. The extended drying time helps build sweetness and complexity while allowing the variety's floral character to shine.

The cup is elegant and expressive, with vibrant aromatics, a silky body, and the clean clarity that makes Costa Rican Geisha so memorable.
