Lomo Bonita
Over the past few years, our Mexican releases have been some of the standouts on our menu. The coffees we get from Oaxaca are known for their deep layered sweetness, subtle fruit acidity, and delicate lasting aftertaste. They provide a great balance for folks who want a complex coffee that is rooted in familiar coffee flavors.
This is our 2nd year purchasing this coffee from Andrea Feria Garcia and the community at Guadalupe Miramor. This year they have put a lot of effort into drying the parchment coffee slower and more evenly by implementing more raised beds. This process has elevated what was already an outstanding cup. In addition to the milk chocolate and honey notes, we are also getting subtle notes of berry and elder flower. This coffee makes for a great transition into the cooler months where we still want a taste of summer fruit with some deeper sweet notes.
